Hello and welcome to the BRAND NEW Celebrate Your Life Blog! I’m thrilled to be sharing some of my favorite stories and learnings with you!

If you aren’t familiar with me or my work, my name is Liz Dawn and I’m the CEO of Mishka Productions and the Celebrate Your Life Event series. Our mission is to help you find your bliss and create a life you LOVE…. and after over 20 years of hosting spiritual events and workshops, I can say with certainty, an essential part of doing this is finding what we like to call your Soul Tribe.

Your Soul Tribe is your spiritual family… like-minded people from all around the world and from all walks of life who believe in transformational self-work, healing, and all the wonderful and wild things that can happen when you tap into your inner guidance and let your light come shining through. So if you’re reading this blog, this is your official invitation to join the Celebrate Your Life Soul Tribe.

The purpose of this blog is to provide you with another helpful way to connect with your Soul Tribe heart-to-heart, especially when we can’t always see each other face-to-face. Plus, I am bursting at the seams about all the upcoming events and amazing speakers we have lined up and I just couldn’t keep it to myself any longer.

I hope this forum will also be an additional space for sharing news, inspiration, empowerment, growth, and joy during all stages of our spiritual journeys. I can’t wait to let you in on personal stories and insights—PLUS some juicy tips and tidbits—and send you my support and love as you travel your unique path.

I want you to know that we are here to help you connect with other like-minded seekers… and to encourage you to begin the process of nourishing your soul.

We have so much going on at Celebrate Your Life this year, I wasn’t sure where to begin, but there is a question Elizabeth Gilbert asked at last May’s International Women’s Summit that I still think about nearly every day. During an incredible weekend full of inspirational moments, this moment stood out to many of our attendees, myself included.

She asked, “What does it look like to be a relaxed woman?”

If you haven’t heard Elizabeth Gilbert speak in person yet, run, don’t walk, to our next event! In addition to being brilliant, creative, and wise, Liz is so down-to-earth, so kind, so loving and open, and you wouldn’t guess she is an international celebrity.

The way she presents and what she has to share is life-changing, and when she asked that question to a room full of our Soul Tribers—What does it look like to be a relaxed woman?—it was like we all took a collective deep breath. A release. Almost like she had given us permission to relax. It felt fantastic. Ultimately, no matter how hard it is, we have to give ourselves permission to relax.

Women everywhere wanted more of this message. After the Summit, I received a lot of emails and calls requesting more of Elizabeth Gilbert’s lessons on slowing down, on seeking yourself rather than “success,” and making time for what is truly important. In response, we created our spring event: True Magic: Your Life Beyond Limitations (featuring Elizabeth Gilbert & Martha Beck) as part of our Celebrate Your Life event schedule. I’m so excited to tell you all about it!

But first I have some questions for you…

When was the last time you felt truly relaxed? We are taught to go, go go, all the time. Our culture says the harder you work, the more value you have, that busier equals more important.

Women are also taught that everyone else’s needs come before our own, and we forget to take time to recharge, to treat ourselves to the same care we apply to others.

What does relaxation look like for you? As Liz Gilbert says, “It’s almost as if to be a woman is to be in a constant state of anxiety.”

Are you nodding? Yes? You are not alone, whether you are a woman or not. What does it mean to be a relaxed person in this world?

This is exactly why you need to get away and Celebrate Your Life with your Soul Tribe! Come let your hair down, refresh your whole being, move toward more authentic living, connect more deeply with yourself and with like-minded people, and be ushered into a community that encourages you to breathe, to slow down, to be. And, of course, have fun!

It’s a beautiful, heart-opening, soul-stirring experience… that you won’t find anywhere else.

Liz Gilbert in her seemingly infinite wisdom describes the energy of these events perfectly. She says there’s a sense of deep relaxation at these live workshops that matches nothing else, not like a post-massage relaxed feeling, but more of an emotional, spiritual, mental relaxation of, “oh, here’s my tribe.”

“It’s like you come into these rooms and you can breathe, and trust,” she says. “That’s the benefit of doing it in person, of being there.”

I can attest to that. Thousands of Celebrate Your Life Event participants—our Soul Tribers—can enthusiastically attest to that. People have fallen in love at these events. People have met their best friends, soul sisters, you name it. The connections you make here will be some of the strongest and most fulfilling of your life. Witnessing these bonds form is one of my favorite parts, and the safety of this tribe allows for greater progress within yourself.

If any of this resonates with you, if you want to support and honor your journey alongside others doing the same, I invite you to join us for this incredible event >>>

As soon as you decide to take that first step and make a commitment to attend, you’re really making a commitment to relax, to be you, and you open up to the possibilities available to your truest self… and the ability to transform your life.

Welcome to your tribe. We can’t wait to meet you.

All my love,
Liz
