Re-Centering Your Mind & Rejuvenating Your Heart

We’ve all felt the exhaustion and monotony of the past 18 months. It’s been a roller coaster of information and emotions.

Have there been moments when you’ve felt like throwing in the towel? Maybe with your Career? Relationships? Family?

I get it. I’ve been there.

But then December comes along, thank goodness! December is the perfect time to take a step back, to get clear again, take a breather and slow down.

When you reflect on these past months, what goes through your mind? Are you in gratitude for how gracefully you’ve handled your life? Or are you reprimanding yourself for ways in which things may have turned upside down?

We all face adversity and these past 18 months have taken our life’s challenges to a whole new level. What if you looked around your life, without judgment and allowed yourself to be inspired by your journey? And let’s take this to a larger scale, what if you were inspired by humanity?

There’s so much to stress about what’s going on in our world today, and so much to feel depleted about, HOWEVER, what if you shifted your awareness?

Right this very moment, look around you. Is everything okay? What colors do you see outside your window? How do you truly feel, without thinking about any kind of drama, in this very exact moment?

I call this the “stay in your lane” exercise.

Whenever I get caught up in the moment of angst and the world around me, I stop and look at what’s really happening. What can I control in this very moment? The mind.  And so shifting your awareness of what’s truly happening around you will be tremendously useful.
