Isn’t spring just the perfect time to Celebrate Your Life?
The weather is warmer but not yet hot, the gentle winds bring a fresh breath of air … and with each and every day, we’re getting more and more of the Sun’s healing light. Buds are forming on trees, grass is sprouting up everywhere, and flowers are beginning to blossom all around. To me, these feel like promises of the fresh starts and new opportunities that are possible for all of us.
With nature literally buzzing with new energy, this time of year not only looks and smells heavenly, but it often opens my eyes to the areas of my life that could use a little revitalization as well. With that in mind, I invite you now to take a few moments to stop, breathe, and think about your life. Are there any areas you’ve been meaning to revitalize, relationships that could be reevaluated, or spiritual self-care practices that may need restoring to their original luster?
The truth is, we could all benefit from a tune-up now and then, and right now, Mother Nature is giving us a masterclass in growth… by showing us (in full vibrant color) what’s truly possible in our lives, with just a little bit of tending. So let’s take this opportunity to clean out our spiritual closets together! A spring soul cleaning, you might say.
One of the first things I like to work on are my relationships.
As many of you know, my mother Ariel has transitioned into spirit, but that doesn’t mean she’s no longer in my life. I’ve learned from the many psychic mediums we’ve hosted at our Celebrate Your Life conferences, that it’s important to continue cultivating relationships with loved ones who have moved on,because they’re always with you, pointing you in the direction of the incredible life you deserve. My friend John Holland will often say to me out of the blue, “Your mom’s here.” He always finds a way to remind me that with the right tools and practices, I can connect to my mom for guidance and support whenever and wherever I need to.
Of course, freshening up the relationships we have with the living is also an essential part of tuning up your life. By taking stock of your own behavior, you can take the first step in improving all of your relationships.
The second thing I do is check in with my physical spaces.
You know how you can sometimes feel the “mood” of a space? That’s energy! For example, dull energy can make you feel tired… or lingering angry energy from an argument can make you anxious or irritable. Think about the places where you spend the most time: your home, your office, your body. They all need to be cleared of sluggish or negative energy periodically, and now is the perfect time to start.
One of our dearest and most popular Celebrate Your Life speakers is best-selling author, Denise Linn. Her workshops and teachings have shown me the clearing tools and techniques I need to keep my energy field and the energies of my spaces clean and clear so they don’t negatively affect the quality of my life. Restoring balance and harmony to your spaces is so healing.
My third focus during spring soul cleaning is my mindset.
Your willingness to do the work of healing, your openness to growth, and your trust in your authentic self… they’re all connected to your success. So many of us sell ourselves short, hold ourselves back because we lack confidence or feel we need permission to change. But now is the time to reset your mind, release those negative thoughts, push past the limiting beliefs about what you can and cannot do, and remember that you are capable of anything!
There are so many tools available to us to help with our mindset and release old block that no longer serve our lives.
Starting Sunday, May 15th, we will be presenting a 28 Day Mindset Makeover course packed with so much great information and experiential exercises to get you moving in the right direction for your mental well-being.
