Are you a lightworker? Whether you’ve been studying and meditating for many years, or perhaps you’re a teacher of metaphysics or maybe you’re brand new to new ways of thinking and being in the world, you are a lightworker.
I call being on a spiritual journey, the lightworkers path. It’s not always an easy one as it can uncover areas of your life you’ve kept hidden. It can throw you into a place of getting strange looks or
comments about your new way of thinking and being in the world. You might have experienced friends and family criticizing you or teasing you.
I’ve been on a path since my mother handed me Ram Dass’ book, Be Here Now, when I was 16 years old. I’ve been running Mishka Productions and Celebrate Your Life events for 27 years, and to this day, I have family members who will joke or tease me about my beliefs. To this very day!
We all knew that taking the off-beat path could potentially be a risk to our friendships and familial relationships, and we had to do it anyway. God, Great Spirit, the Universe, your intuition or whatever you ascribe to was calling your name. It was nudging you to step into stillness, into your soul’s knowing, into the truth of who you are and you wouldn’t go back or change a thing about your journey.
So, for all my beautiful fellow lightworkers and soul tribe, remember this:
When everyone is in fear, we have to show courage.
When everyone else is in lack, we have to give.
When everyone else is in judgment, we must be compassionate and kind.
When everyone is racing to the top, we stand in peace and presence.
When everyone is stuck in familiarity, we bravely cross the river of change.
When everyone has thoughts that deplete them, we must have thoughts that serve and support our lives!
We understand and know what it takes to cross the river of change, we know our thoughts attempt to unseat us and we must consciously change our thoughts to shift our energy. And no matter what is going on in your external world, you stay the course. No. Matter. What.
I love you all. You are not alone. Stay the course.
Dear Liz, Thank you for your beautiful reminder of what we all came here to do and how we must keep a constant vigil over our own thoughts, not letting the collective fear distract us.
Thank you also for the lovely, inspiring meditation that you gifted us all. May we all continue to do our work, to transform the darkness, bring more light, and remember who we are and why we are here. 🙏
Thank you so much, Marlou! I am so touched by your comment. It is so nice to know that these posts are helpful to my readers. Much love, Liz
